We’re very pleased to be able to offer you a place to come to share your views, exchange opinions with other people and catch up on the latest gossip.

There are however, some general rules that we expect you to adhere to. By accessing our website or any blog post, user profile or other service provided by our site, you agree to abide by the following standards of conduct.

  • Posting or transmitting content that contains or advocates hate, racism, bigotry, pedophilia, bestiality or incest.
  • Posting or transmitting content that infringes another person or entity’s copyright, trademark, right of publicity or other proprietary right. Any person determined by Environment Victoria (at its sole discretion) to have repeatedly violated the intellectual property or other rights of others shall be barred from submitting or posting any further material on www.environmentvictoria.org.au or any of its affiliated websites.
  • Harassing, threatening, stalking or intentionally embarrassing or causing distress to another person or entity.
  • Impersonating another person or entity.
  • Promoting, soliciting or participating in multilevel marketing or pyramid schemes.
  • Soliciting personally identifiable information from or exploiting children less than 18 years of age.
  • Engaging in disruptive activity such as sending multiple messages in an effort to monopolise a discussion or posting content unrelated to a blog’s designated topic or theme.
  • Introducing viruses, worms, Trojan horses, harmful code, or any software or other materials that contain a harmful component to the website.
  • Invading the privacy of any person, including posting personally identifying or otherwise private or sensitive information about a person without their consent or harvesting personally identifiable information about our users through the website.
  • Engaging in, encouraging, advocating, providing instructions for or discussing with the intent to commit conduct that would constitute a criminal or civil offense or otherwise violate any federal, state or international law or regulation.
No implied endorsements

In no event shall any reference to any third party or third-party product or service be construed as an approval or endorsement by Environment Victoria of that third party or of any product or service provided by a third party. Likewise, a link to any non-Environment Victoria website does not imply that we endorse or accept any responsibility for the content or use of such a website.
