Environment Victoria comments on the Commonwealth Environmental Water Holder’s Discussion Paper
The Commonwealth government is buying water to return to rivers in the Murray-Darling Basin, and has set up an ‘environmental water holder’ to make decisions about how and where the water should be used. The water holder is now working on a framework to guide its decision-making process and Environment Victoria has made a submission.
