The Regional Sustainable Living Program Final Evaluation Report
The Regional Sustainable Living Program ran from 2006 to 2010, delivering community projects to help people to make sustainability part of their everyday lives. It worked with communities who you don't usually think of as being involved in sustainability - like low income families in Colac (through our Families Go Green project, which has since been renamed Sustainability on a Shoestring), senior citizens in Geelong (through our Eco-Wise Action project) and young people in Central Victoria (through our Youth Eco-Challenge). But it's shown that they can and do become very involved in sustainability, and often become role models for the rest of us. You can find the detailed learnings of the first three years of the four year program here. The Regional Sustainable Living Program has been possible thanks to funding from the good folks at the Department of Sustainability and Environment.
